Memphis has every kind of roofline: Tudor and Colonial homes in East Memphis and Midtown with steep peaks and gables, ranch homes with long, simple eaves, and newer two-story builds out toward Cordova. Permanent lighting is designed around each one, so it looks like part of the house, not lights clipped to a gutter.
In East Memphis, Chickasaw Gardens, Central Gardens and High Point Terrace, a lot of homes have steep rooflines, multiple gables and two-story peaks. Those are exactly the houses where hanging Christmas lights is a real safety risk, and where a precise line of permanent light shows off the architecture best.
In Cordova and the newer parts of the city, the long, simple eaves of ranch and two-story builds are quick to light and look great in warm white year-round. We plan every run so the track lines up with the trim and the power comes from a clean, hidden spot.

Memphis throws everything at a roofline: summer heat and humidity, heavy spring storms, and the occasional ice storm in winter. Permanent lighting uses sealed, outdoor-rated LEDs in an aluminum track mounted to the fascia, so it isn't hanging loose in the wind like a strand of clip-on lights.
Temporary Christmas lights also mean someone on a ladder in December, often on a wet or icy roof. Permanent lights remove that job for good: they go up once, in good weather, by an installer with the right equipment.
The LEDs use a fraction of the power of old incandescent strands, and schedules keep them running only when you want them on.
